I am having issues several times a week with files servers not synchronizing correctly. These file servers contain our users home folders. When it fails I get the following error:
Description:Number of files skipped for synchronization due to errors has exceeded the maximum allowed limit of 100 files on this data source (ID 32538 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909FE)When I check the failed files log it will give me a list of files (office documents and images etc) all failing with error code 0x80070005
I have ensured the DPM server its self is up to date and that the agents are up to date. I have also edited our anti-virus settings (McAfee Enterprise) to exclude the following folders/files from real-time scanning:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\DPM\DPM\bin\dpmra.exe
C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\DPM\DPM\Temp\MTA
C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\DPM\DPM\XSD
I can't figure out what else could possibly be using those files or locking them to stop DPM from backing them up. Any suggestions for what to look for next?
