Hi All
Firstly, can anyone explain the difference between a consistency check and an integrity check? Are integrity checks faster?
The reason I ask is that we have found that DPM (2012 R2 UR4) is corrupting MS Access databases when it backs them up (no users are in them at the time) and the only way to cure this is to schedule periodic integrity checks against the volume they are stored on. At the moment, the only volume this is happening on is relatively small but I'm worried that if this spreads we will have to schedule integrity checks against larger volumes (TBs at a time) which could cause a huge problem for us as these files could literally be anywhere on any server.
Secondly, has anyone else come up against this and found a solution that didn't involve having to take manual intervention at the data level?
Thanks
